Urgent Attention: Dormant/Inoperative Accounts to be closed and balance transfer to MMA

All customers, who have not transacted in their accounts since 01.01.2009, are hereby requested to submit fresh KYC documents (latest Identity & Address proof and in addition, work visa cards for expatriates) by 30.11.2013 to the Bank to enable us to reactivate their accounts. Such customers are also requested to note that the Bank will be constrained to close their respective accounts on non-submission of the relative KYC documents. Please be advised that as per local regulations, the Bank is required to transfer the balance available in such accounts to the regulator i.e. Maldives Monetary Authority(MMA) after closing the same.
