A new facility has been added on our Intenet Banking(INB) portal www.onlinesbiglobal.com through which customers(both Retail & Corporate customers) having INB transaction rights facility can send their request for fund transfer to other Banks (within/outside Maldives). The facility will not only eliminate sending/submitting hard copy of request forms at the branch but also provide a real time secured channel to the customers to submit their request through INB by using their log in credentials(User ID, Sign on Password & Transaction Password). Such customers will also get information on status of their requests through INB without any follow up with the branch.
This new facility covers undernoted services:
- Fund transfer to other Banks in Maldives (Local Transfer): Interested customers can submit their requirement of fund transfer to other Banks within Maldives through input form ‘Maldives Inter Bank Payment Request’ by visiting ‘Service Requests’ tab on our INB portal.
- Fund transfer to Banks outside Maldives (International Transfer): Interested customers can submit their requirement of fund transfer to other Banks outside Maldives through input form ‘International Remittance Request’ by visiting ‘Service Requests’ tab on our INB portal. (Please note that 'International Transfer' facility is available for our USD account holders only.)

It will be the responsibility of the customers to enter correct account number while data input in both International Remittance Request(International Transfer) and Maldives Inter Bank Payment Request(Local Transfer) as funds will be transferred solely on the basis of account number. Therefore, customers must ensure to enter correct account number of the beneficiary. SBI will not accept the responsibility for funds transferred to a wrong account number if inadvertently input by the customers.
